Esta página localizada mantém as fontes e os limites de verificação do artigo em inglês; confirme no Roblox atual qualquer requisito que possa mudar antes da publicação. Project: Afternight modifiers alter how a selected chart is presented or played. They are most useful as deliberate challenges after you understand the base chart. The public Roblox Badge API confirms several modifier names and exact combinations, but it does not provide a complete current modifier list, menu path, detailed effect definitions, compatibility rules, or defaults.
This reference keeps the official conditions exact while leaving unverified behavior to the live game.
Find the current modifier selector
Open the official Place and reach a normal song setup. Look for the current options attached to the song, stage, speaker, or settings flow. Record every selected modifier, chart, difficulty, key count, and speed before confirming.
Exact paths can change during beta. If a named modifier from a Badge description is not visible, check other current song options and Updates rather than assuming it was removed.
Start with an unmodified baseline
Complete a familiar chart once with optional modifiers disabled. Record accuracy, combo, readability, and any difficult section. This proves the chart and controls work before a modifier changes the task.
Add one modifier, replay the same chart, and describe the observable difference. Restore the baseline before testing the next one. Stacking several unknown effects makes it impossible to identify the source of a miss.
Modifier names confirmed by Roblox
The following names appear in first-party Project: Afternight Badge descriptions checked on September 6, 2026:
Names are official; the third column remains a manual test because the Badge API describes goals, not a mechanics encyclopedia.
Where’d They Go? combination
The official Badge description says to beat any song with at least 70% accuracy while both Fade In and Fade Out are enabled at once. The selected song must have at least 175 playable notes.
Choose a familiar qualifying chart, verify both modifiers are simultaneously active, and capture the selection plus result. Do not assume total notes, decorative notes, or another displayed count equals “playable notes” unless the current game says so.
Randomizer combination
The official description requires at least 70% accuracy with Inverse Notes, Random Note Scale, Randomize Chart, and Random Scroll Invert all enabled at once, on a song with at least 175 playable notes.
Practice each modifier separately first. Then combine them on a chart whose base version you can complete. Confirm every toggle immediately before starting; one missing selection breaks the written condition.
How Did We Get Here? combination
The official description says to beat any song with at least 70% accuracy while every modifier is enabled at once, excluding Fades and rating modifiers. The song must contain at least 175 playable notes.
Because “every modifier” depends on the current live selector, this challenge requires a same-day interface check. Do not publish a permanent checklist from an old screenshot. Capture the entire selected list and the exclusions visible in the current version.
I AM THE SPEED combination
The official description says to beat any song with at least 70% accuracy with Speed Up on Miss enabled, on a song at 2x Speed, with at least 175 playable notes.
Speed and modifier are separate conditions. Confirm both. Practice the base chart and its higher rate before a goal run. The name “Speed Up on Miss” suggests behavior, but its exact progression after misses should be described only from a current manual test.
Keep Badges and normal play separate
These official combinations are Badge challenges, not recommended default settings. They may reduce readability or change familiar patterns. Use them only when you want the challenge and stop if visual behavior becomes uncomfortable.
Project: Afternight warns about flashing, screen shake, and jumpscares. Combining visibility modifiers with an event song can add unnecessary load. Choose a clean chart that meets the written note condition when the Badge does not require a specific song.
Troubleshoot a modifier challenge
- Confirm the official Place and current Badge wording.
- Verify the exact song and at least 175 playable notes where required.
- Select every named modifier and any required speed.
- Complete the chart with at least the stated accuracy.
- Save the setup and result screens.
- Wait for normal Badge delivery, then check Badges.
- Report a reproducible issue through an official channel without sharing account secrets.
Do not infer a probability from Badge rarity or awarded counts. The descriptions state conditions, not random drops.
Build a modifier card
Record current name, selector path, observable effect, compatible chart/key count, selected speed, interaction with other modifiers, device, base result, modified result, and checked date. Leave every unobserved field blank.
For controls affected by additional lanes or mapping, use Controls. For readability and comfort, use Settings. Never use an executor or autoplay tool to complete a modifier challenge; it creates security and moderation risk and removes the value of the result.
