Project: Afternight Roblox Group

Verify the Project: Afternight developer through Place, Universe, and Dawndreamer Studios Group IDs before joining or trusting links.

The official Project: Afternight developer group is Dawndreamer Studios, Roblox Group 17371285. The first-party Games API for Universe 4557322431 lists that group as the creator, and the official experience uses root Place 13042495892.

Open the Dawndreamer Studios Roblox community page and compare the numeric ID, not just the display name. This verification chain is the safest way to distinguish the game from copied experiences and similarly named groups.

Verify before joining the game

Open Project: Afternight on Roblox. Check the creator link and Place ID. A title or thumbnail can be copied; the creator and numeric identity create a stronger chain.

If a search result opens another Place, do not assume progress, shop items, Badges, or community links are shared. Return to the official URL. The correct game listing describes a beta rhythm game, near-4,000-song catalog, battles at speakers, and desktop/mobile/console support.

Understand Group versus Place versus Universe

A Group identifies the developer community. A Place is the concrete Roblox entry point used by the URL. A Universe groups the experience’s places and is used by APIs such as the Badge listing. These IDs serve different purposes.

Do not paste Group 17371285, Universe 4557322431, or Place 13042495892 into a custom icon or Outfit ID field. Those customization systems require their own current input type.

Join the Group carefully

The Groups API showed public entry allowed during the September 6, 2026 check. Use Roblox’s own Join Community action if you want to join. Read current group rules and roles. Group membership does not automatically prove access to every test, cosmetic, event, or staff channel.

Do not pay a stranger for a group role and do not share credentials to “verify” membership. Roblox and official community flows can see normal membership state without receiving your cookie or password.

Interpret roles and ownership correctly

The Groups API identified Sezei as the owner at the checked time. That is a dated identity fact, not a permanent guarantee. Use the live group page for current ownership and roles.

A group role name can show community responsibility, but it does not make every message from that user an official update. Look for designated announcement routes and cross-links. Similarly, a user outside the group can provide helpful chart advice without speaking for the developer.

The game description invites players to join the community for news and sneak peeks. Use first-party links available from the current game/group identity. The Discord guide points to the Dawndreamer Studios Discovery listing. The Social Media guide explains how to confirm X and other accounts.

Do not treat an unofficial Trello, fan wiki, video channel, or social mirror as the developer simply because it ranks highly in search. Those sources can still be useful when clearly labeled as community material.

Use the Group for a copied-game check

When a page or video claims to be Project: Afternight, ask:

  1. Does the Roblox URL use Place 13042495892?
  2. Does the Place resolve to Universe 4557322431?
  3. Does the Games API identify creator Group 17371285?
  4. Does the group page display Dawndreamer Studios?
  5. Does any linked Discord or social account connect back through a first-party route?

Failure at one step does not automatically prove malice, but it means the “official” claim is not established.

Do not use volatile counters as authority

Group member count, current players, visits, favorites, and update timestamps change. They can help timestamp a snapshot but do not establish search demand, quality, odds, or legitimacy by themselves. Numeric IDs and direct creator relationships are stronger identity evidence.

If a copy has more current players at one moment, it does not become the official game. If the official game’s counts fall, its creator chain does not change automatically.

Report impersonation safely

Use Roblox’s normal reporting tools for a copied experience, scam link, or impersonating account. Save the URL and numeric IDs. Do not engage with a scammer or run a file to collect “proof.” For Discord impersonation, report within Discord and warn the official community without sharing harmful links broadly.

Never provide authentication secrets to a person claiming to be a developer. Official support can work from Place, server, device, visible error, and account name without requiring your password or session cookie.

Verification checklist

  • Experience name: Project: Afternight.
  • Place ID: 13042495892.
  • Universe ID: 4557322431.
  • Creator: Dawndreamer Studios.
  • Group ID: 17371285.
  • Owner snapshot: Sezei on September 6, 2026.
  • Official relationships checked through Roblox APIs, not name matching alone.

Return here whenever an invite, update account, or copied place seems uncertain. Identity verification is fast, and it prevents every later guide, code claim, unlock instruction, or download from being attached to the wrong game.
