このローカライズ版は英語記事の出典と検証範囲を保持しています。変わりやすい条件は公開前に現在の Roblox の画面で確認してください。 Project: Afternight is built around a very large song catalog. The official Roblox description says there are nearly 4,000 songs across several difficulties, but it does not publish an exportable live list. Treat that number as an approximate description, not an exact counter. Songs can move, change, or become unavailable as the beta develops and as mod or music permissions change.
The fastest way to find something useful is to search by Tab or Mod, then narrow by song, difficulty, key count, special presentation, and current availability. A song name alone may not identify the exact chart you want because remixes, alternate versions, and different difficulties can have different patterns.
Pick a song by purpose
Hardest songs
Judge demanding charts by readable evidence such as pattern density, key count, stamina, gimmicks, and the selected difficulty—not a video's views.
6K songs
Prepare six reliable inputs, verify the chart actually uses six lanes, and step up from familiar patterns before chasing speed.
Songs with events
Find charts where cutscenes, stage changes, special notes, or other scripted presentation affects what you see and how you prepare.
Window movement
Understand the desktop-only safety checks and display boundaries needed before trying presentation that may affect the game window.
Song tier list
Build a learning ladder with published criteria and a check date instead of pretending one subjective ranking fits every player.
Use the catalog as an index, not a finish line
A useful personal song index has compact fields: Song, Tab or Mod, selected difficulty, key count, event or cutscene, window behavior, device caveat, availability, and last checked. Leave a field blank when you have not verified it. Guessing a key count or event type makes the index less useful than a shorter honest list.
Start each lookup in the current game. Write the label exactly as displayed, including punctuation that distinguishes alternate versions. Select the difficulty before recording the chart. If the same song appears in another tab or version, record the path you used rather than merging them from memory.
Community indexes such as the Funkipedia Project: Afternight page are useful for discovering candidate tabs and older content, but the page can be incomplete or outdated. Use it to decide what to search for in game, not to declare everything currently playable.
Build a three-level learning ladder
Your foundation group should contain songs where you can see the full chart, reach every required input, and finish without panic. Use these for warm-ups, control changes, and comparing settings. A chart does not need to be trivial; it needs to be predictable enough that a new mistake is informative.
Your growth group should add one clear demand: denser patterns, faster transitions, an extra lane, longer stamina, a visual event, or a modifier. Keep the rest familiar. This makes the cause of misses easier to identify and gives you a realistic chance to recover during the song.
Your challenge group can contain the charts you currently consider hardest. Attempt them after a warm-up, with bindings checked and a goal smaller than immediate perfection. Reaching the second difficult section consistently is progress even before a clear or Full Combo.
The Song Tier List formalizes this ladder, while Hardest Songs explains how to compare difficult charts without inventing an official rank.
Handle key counts before difficulty labels
Difficulty names do not tell you whether your current input layout covers every lane. A 6K chart requires six distinct inputs, and higher-key charts may demand a completely different hand position. Verify the receptor count during preview or at the start of a safe attempt. If a lane has no comfortable input, leave and fix the layout instead of sacrificing the entire run.
Players moving from four lanes should practice six-key patterns at a manageable song difficulty. Map the middle lanes first, keep wrists neutral, and test short alternating groups. The 6K Songs guide gives a staged route, and Controls covers the binding check without claiming one universal keyboard layout.
Prepare for events, cutscenes, and visual changes
Some player searches distinguish ordinary charts from songs with events, cutscenes, or window movement. These labels describe presentation behavior, not a guaranteed difficulty level. An event can be memorable without making the notes harder, while a plain-looking chart can still be mechanically demanding.
Before an event chart, review the official warning that Project: Afternight may contain flashing lights, screen shakes, and jumpscares. Use available effect controls, keep the play area visible, and stop if the presentation is uncomfortable. On mobile and console, an event may behave differently or omit desktop-specific effects. Record the device when sharing advice.
The Songs with Events guide separates cutscenes, stage events, special notes, and visual changes. The Window Movement guide is intentionally cautious because browser, desktop, and Roblox window behavior need current direct testing.
Track availability without inventing removal reasons
If a song disappears, first confirm the exact tab, spelling, difficulty, and version. Search may have moved it, a server may be on a different build, or the content may actually be unavailable. Check the official experience and developer announcements before assigning a cause.
Use three simple states: Current when you opened the exact chart in the present build; Community reported when a current independent report describes it but you did not reproduce it; and Needs in-game testing when only an older list or video names it. “Removed” should require a dated observation or developer statement. Do not turn speculation about copyright, moderation, or reuploading into a fact.
Compare songs fairly
When comparing two charts, keep the selected difficulty, rate, modifiers, key count, input device, and date visible. A desktop player’s rating of a dense 6K chart does not automatically describe the mobile experience. Likewise, a Full Combo on an easier difficulty does not prove the hardest chart is easy.
Use multiple criteria rather than a single score: first-read clarity, pattern speed, stamina, lane count, event distraction, recovery after a miss, and consistency across repeat attempts. The result is a personal learning rank, not an official difficulty chart. Revisit it after major updates or when your controls change.
A practical song-discovery session
- Warm up on a known chart at a comfortable difficulty.
- Open one tab or mod you want to explore and sample two songs below your limit.
- Record exact labels, selected difficulties, key counts, and any special presentation you directly observe.
- Choose one growth chart and replay it with the same settings.
- Finish with one favorite or challenge chart, then note the section that needs practice.
- Check Updates if a known song has moved or behaves differently.
This route gives you variety without losing the ability to learn from results. It also creates a trustworthy personal index over time.
Quick answers
Is there a complete Project: Afternight song list here? No public first-party export proves a complete current list. Use the live catalog as the final source and date every community-derived entry.
Does “nearly 4,000” mean exactly 4,000 songs? No. It is the developer’s approximate description and can change during beta.
What should a beginner play first? Pick a readable chart at a manageable difficulty, confirm all lane inputs, and use it as a baseline before exploring harder or event-heavy content.
How do I report a missing song? Record the exact title, tab, selected difficulty, server date, and what the current search shows. Then check the developer’s official community channels without guessing the reason.
