The live game must confirm each animation’s name, preview, source, unlock condition, and equipped state. Older shop lists can help you find an item, but they should not be treated as permanent requirements.
Use this guide to inspect one animation, prepare the correct attempt, and verify that it actually became available.
Find the current animation section
Open the official game and use the current customization or shop navigation. Exact menu labels and locations can change during beta, so follow the live tabs rather than a screenshot. Select an animation and record its displayed name, locked or unlocked state, and any preview or description.
If the interface groups animation with another cosmetic type, keep the reward type exactly as shown. Do not call every character pose an unlockable animation; stage character behavior, opponent animation, emotes, and player note-hit customization may be separate systems.
Read the complete requirement
Copy every condition attached to the selected item:
- Source song, mod tab, character, or opponent.
- Required difficulty or key count, if stated.
- Accuracy, completion, Full Combo, or score condition.
- Playback rate or named modifiers.
- Special-note or modchart restriction.
- Any other eligibility or availability message.
Unknown fields stay unknown. A number found on another item is not a default.
Understand historical community information
Community shop documentation has historically described common animation conditions involving a source song, an accuracy floor, at least normal playback rate, and restrictions related to modcharts or special notes. That is useful context for interpreting an old list, but it is not a current first-party rule for every animation.
The community page also warns that its content is unfinished or outdated. If the live tooltip shows different wording, follow the live wording. If no tooltip is visible, mark the condition verification required rather than publishing the older values as certain.
Practice the source chart first
Confirm that the named song is currently playable and that you selected the right tab, difficulty, and key count. Complete it once without experimental settings. If the animation asks for accuracy, learn the repeated timing problem. If it asks for Full Combo, practice the common break point. If it asks for a rate or modifier, add that only after the base chart works.
Use Accuracy and Full Combo for performance practice and Shop Unlocks for an attempt tracker. Do not transfer official Roblox Badge conditions onto an animation.
Verify the unlock and equip steps separately
After a qualifying run, save the result screen and return to the animation item. Check whether its state changed from locked to available. Then equip it and confirm the selected or active state in the current interface.
An unlock and an equip are different events. If the character still shows the previous motion, check whether the new animation was merely added to inventory, whether another loadout or character slot is active, and whether the current stage displays player animations clearly.
Test what the animation changes
Use an easy chart with visible character presentation. Confirm which actions change: individual directional hits, idle state, miss reaction, hold notes, or another current behavior. Describe only what you observe. Do not infer that a visual name grants gameplay effects, scoring bonuses, larger timing windows, or better accuracy.
Test on one device first. Desktop may make previews easier to inspect, while mobile and console interfaces may arrange the customization panel differently. The cosmetic should not be assumed to alter chart controls.
Build an animation card
Current shop category
Observed hit/idle behavior
Available, not found, changed
This card format works on mobile without a wide spreadsheet and prevents the source song from becoming detached from its current condition.
Troubleshoot “not unlocking”
Reopen the item and compare the exact requirement with the result. Check song identity, difficulty, key count, accuracy, combo status, playback rate, named modifiers, and any restriction. Confirm the animation did not unlock silently without auto-equipping.
Then try a fresh server only after saving the evidence. If the source song is not available, check Updates rather than substituting a similarly named chart. If everything matches, report the item name, requirement screenshot, chart setup, result, device, and date through an official community channel.
Do not repeatedly grind under an ambiguous historical rule. One clear question to an official channel is safer than hours of attempts built on an outdated table.
Troubleshoot “not working”
Equip the item again and test a normal chart without other experimental cosmetics. Confirm the correct player slot or character presentation is visible. Rejoin the official Place. Check whether an update changed the preview or whether the selected song uses presentation that hides normal animations.
Avoid “fix” scripts, executors, or unknown asset downloads. They are not legitimate animation setup tools and may compromise the account.
Keep animation guidance current
Date every tooltip and successful unlock. Separate live UI verified, unlock verified, community reported, and not currently found. Never claim a drop rate; these rewards are described as conditions, not random loot.
For other appearance tasks, continue to Custom Icons, Outfit IDs, and Tags. The useful animation guide is not the biggest list—it is the list that tells a player exactly what was checked and what still needs confirmation.
